Server monitoring

Your server or your website not being accessible can have dire consequences. Server downtimes can contribute to decreasing visitor counts, revenue losses, bad reputation and other situations. Vistors might be gone forever.

We check in freely configurable intervals the accessibility of your website, services and servers. Among others we are using the monitoring tool Nagios. As soon as a server failure gets registered, a notification is being sent, e.g. email or SMS aloowing to instantly react to the problem.

For the server-monitoring following methods are being applied:

Here it is being checked regularaly, if the service in question is responsive

2: Content monitoring

A text is inserted into your website that will be searched by the monitoring tool. Failure to find the text indicates non-accessability of the page.
